Buchung von Gruppenarbeitsräumen und Lesesaalführungen in der Universitätsbibliothek

Über diese Seite können Gruppenarbeitsräume und Lesesaalführungen in der Universitätsbibliothek gebucht werden. Bitte beachten Sie, dass bei Gruppenarbeitsräumen vorab eine einmalige Registrierung notwendig ist. Hier erhalten Sie eine Übersicht über die aktuelle Lesesaalbelegung.

Gruppenarbeitsplätze (Stand: 9.3.2023):

Pro Woche können Sie vier Zeitslots (je 2 Stunden) in einem der fünf Lesesäle buchen.
Buchungen sind 14 Tage im Voraus möglich.
Es muss jeweils nur eine Person aus einer Lerngruppe eine Buchung vornehmen.
Ein Gruppenarbeitsraum kann von 2 bis 8 Personen genutzt werden. Eine Einzelnutzung ist nicht gestattet.
Nach Beginn des gebuchten Zeitraumes müssen Sie sich innerhalb einer halben Stunde im Eingangsbereich des jeweiligen Lesesaals registrieren. Danach verfällt die Buchung. Die Gruppenarbeitsplätze sind dann neu buchbar.
Die Buchung erfolgt über die universitäre Mailadresse. Zulässig sind die Strukturen ZIMKennung@ads.uni-passau.de und vorname.nachname@uni-passau.de.
Hinweis für Studierende, denen nur die Adresse mit der Struktur ZIMKennung@stud.uni-passau.de bekannt ist: Ihnen ist parallel eine Mailadresse mit der Struktur ZIMKennung@ads.uni-passau.de zugewiesen. Verwenden Sie letztere. Mails an beide Adressen landen im selben Postfach.

Buchungs- und Registrierungsvorgang:

Eine einmalige Registrierung ist nötig (siehe oben rechts "Anmelden"; die Registrierung ist auch während des Buchungsvorgangs möglich).
Wählen Sie zunächst einen Lesesaal-Bereich aus, in dem Sie lernen möchten.
Wählen Sie für diesen Lesesaal-Bereich einen gewünschten Termin aus.
Sie erhalten eine Voransicht Ihrer Buchungseinstellungen.
Geben Sie Ihre Kontaktdaten an: Vorname, Name, universitäre Mailadresse, Telefonnummer (technisch wird eine Eingabe verlangt; falls Sie keine Nummer angeben möchten, tippen Sie eine willkürliche Zahlenfolge ein).
Nach Auslösung der Buchung erhalten Sie in Ihrem Mail-Postfach eine Bestätigung.
Zeigen Sie bei der Registrierung vor Ort eine Bestätigung vor, auf der der entsprechende QR-Code zu sehen ist.

Booking a Group Study Room in an University Library Reading Room or a Library Tour

On this page you can book a group study room in one of the University Library’s reading rooms or a Library Tour. Please note that in case of group study rooms a one-off registration is necessary. Here you can get an overview of current capacity at the Library rooms.

Group study rooms [9 March 2023]:

You may book four booking periods (for two hours) per week in one of the five reading rooms.
Bookings can be made up to 14 days in advance.
Only one single person of a group needs to make a reservation.
A Group Study Room can be used by 2 to 8 persons. A single use is not permitted.
You have to register yourself in the entrance area of the reading room during the first half hour of your booked timeslot; otherwise, your booking lapses. Your group study room then becomes available for booking again.
You should book with your university e-mail account. The following formats are permitted: ZIMusername@ads.uni-passau.de and given_name.family_name@uni-passau.de.
If your e-mail address has the format ZIMusername@stud.uni-passau.de, please use ZIMusername@ads.uni-passau.de. (NB: you can actually use the latter as your e-mail address, as e-mails sent to either address go to exactly the same mailbox.).

Booking process:

An one-off registration is necessary (see above "Log in"; it is possible to register during the booking process).
First select a reading room area where you would like to study.
Then select a desired date and timeslot.
You are then presented with a preview of your booking information.
Enter your contact details: given name, family name, university e-mail address, telephone number (technically, an entry is required; if you do not wish to share your phone number with us, simply enter a random sequence of numbers).
After confirming the booking, you will receive a confirmation e-mail in your inbox.
Please present the QR code you were sent when registering yourself upon arrival at the reading room.
Please note up-to-date information about our services on our homepage, especially the possibility of registration-free short-term use of the reading rooms if you do not require a desk.

Despite all these extra rules and formalities, we hope you will enjoy your visit to the University Library.
