A Systemic Psychotherapist works with individuals, couples, and families in the context of their relationships. The therapist helps to identify patterns of communication, explore new ways of communicating and creates space to explore worries and emotions. Sessions are client-led, and the aim is to engage in meaningful conversations that offer the individual, couple, or family different ways to view the difficulties they are experiencing and create new meaning for their relationships.

People sometimes may come alone to psychotherapy session. In other cases couples or families come to therapy. Systemic Psychotherapy helps to:

· Improve family communication, enhancement of mutual understanding and emotional support among family members.

· Provide ways to explore ways of understanding a person’s mental health and family related issues.

· Development of coping skills and problem solving strategies.

· Identify ways to rebuild communication within relationships when they have broken down.
