What does "perfect match" mean in the application process?

An application process should never be a one-way street, but always a mutual process of getting to know each other.

And it's not only on Tinder that a match is fun. Even after getting to know the anny team, you'll hopefully walk out with a smile (so that nothing stands in the way of the Super-Like). That's what New Hiring is all about.

But what does "perfect match" actually mean for us in the application process?

The challenges of recruiting today

Terms like War Of Talents or shortage of skilled workers characterize today's recruiting and if you are honest, probably nobody in #TalentManagement can really hear them anymore.

Because one thing is certain: all companies would prefer to bake the perfect applicant, including a perfect resume with top qualifications and the best references from many years of relevant professional experience. An open and dynamic personality should also be brought along, so that the training in the team takes place as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Employer branding in particular is an integral part of many companies today. But why is it that employees' loyalty to the company only really comes into focus after they have been hired? The question is how can we ensure that they can best develop their potential in the company right from the start? My experience has shown: By allowing talented people to be themselves and feel comfortable right from the start of the application process and not just after signing the contract.

New Hiring as a modern approach

How can New Hiring be ensured? The bond between the company and potential talents should be strengthened as early as the recruiting process. The focus should not (only) be on the application documents, but above all on the personality. After all, it's not only on the job that the fun and feel-good factors are crucial for productivity and affiliation, but also as early as the process of getting to know each other.

Getting to know each other as part of New Hiring

In recruiting at anny, we have established get-to-know-you interviews that aim to get to know the personality behind the application documents, in as uncomplicated a manner as possible and in settings in which each individual feels comfortable.

In the morning with the morning cappuccino? Or rather during your lunch break after your favorite meal? Or in the evening on the couch? Well-being times are individual, but they all have one thing in common: a short time frame of about 30 minutes can (hopefully) be set aside for everyone.

Because in this crisp half hour we ask ourselves the important questions of life, for which otherwise in everyday life often no time remains:

  • What are your personal and professional goals?
  • What is important to you in life and in your job?
  • What do you need to feel good and realize your potential?

My experience with anny
