Questions about quotes
Can I create quotes for free with anny?
Yes. Quotes with online signing are included in anny’s free Starter plan, no credit card needed. You create them from any request or order.
What can go in a quote?
Bookings with live availability, products, booking bundles, custom lines, and discount codes. anny calculates net, tax, and total.
Is an online signature legally valid?
For most quotes, yes. In the US, the ESIGN Act and UETA cover electronic signatures. anny stores each signature with a timestamp.
How long is a quote valid?
As long as you set. anny defaults to 14 days. After that the quote expires, held dates are released, and the request comes back to you.
What’s the difference between a quote and an estimate?
A quote is binding once accepted; an estimate is an approximation that can change.
Are dates held when I send the quote?
Yes, if you choose it when sending. Nobody else can book them in the meantime. If the quote expires, anny releases them automatically.
Can I change a quote after sending it?
Yes. Change the order and send a new version. The old one is marked outdated and can no longer be signed.
Does anny replace my accounting software?
No. anny handles quotes, invoices, and payments around your bookings. For bookkeeping, export to DATEV (from Professional).
How does my customer receive the quote?
By email, using your own template. It includes the quote as a PDF and a link where your customer signs online.
